DO I HAVE TO USE FLAKY BISCUITS?
No you technically do not have to use flaky biscuits for this Air Fryer Donut Recipe but we like to use the flaky ones the best. You can use just regular biscuits if you’d like.
Make sure that you do not get the small sized ones, if you do get the small sized, you can fry them without cutting a hole in the center for about 3 minutes.
Just look at that glaze, it get’s in all the nooks and cranny’s of these donuts! That is what I like about glazing donuts! Some other options that you can do are:
- Cinnamon Sugar (recipe in notes)
- Lemon Glaze
- Orange Glaze
- Chocolate Dipped
- Strawberry Glaze
There are so many different options to glaze these that you can pretty much do whatever flavor you’d like. I particularly love the Cinnamon Sugar and Lemon Glaze.
HOW TO STORE:
Just like any donuts they are best eaten the same day that they are made. But if you find that you do have some leftovers, place them in an airtight container at room temp.
They will stay good up to 2 days before going stale, so you will want to eat them up fast, but most likely you will not have any leftover!
