If I haven’t said it before, I love holiday cocktails! They are super fun to come up with and they are all so tasty, with the winter themes.
I’m a huge eggnog fan and this Eggnog Cocktail is absolutely delish! With some rum and white chocolate liquor it really makes it super tasty.
Do you guys make your own special cocktails for the holiday season? If so I would love to hear what they are!
We love sitting with a glass of this in front of the fire on Christmas Eve after all the presents have been opened and just relax from the hectic day.
We are not a traditional family, we do presents on Christmas Eve and that is something that we have always done since I was a little kid.
So every year (since I was an adult) we have came up with different drinks that we wanted to serve and this one has been a hit ever since!
I mean nothing screams Christmas like eggnog! So there was no way that I wasn’t going to create a recipe that didn’t contain it!
Some of my other favorite drinks we have on our site include: Candy Cane Cocktail, Grasshopper Cocktail and Cranberry Orange Rum Punch.

WHAT KIND OF WHITE CHOCOLATE LIQUOR IS THE BEST?
We are not particular on our brand but some brands that you can use include: Godiva, Mozart, Van Meers, Trader Vic’s, O’Reillys and Merrys.
We use Godiva for this particular recipes but you can use any that you can find at your local liquor store.
CAN I MAKE A LARGE BATCH OF THIS?
Absolutely! You can either make it in a punch bowl or in a pitcher. This is great to make larger batches for parties, it might take a little longer because of the shaking to cool but you can skip that step and stir everything together.
Since alcohol is added to this this will actually keep longer than your normal drinks. This can stay refrigerated and covered for up to a week or even longer.
HOW TO STORE:
If you are making a larger batch of this recipe then you can store it in the refrigerator covered where it will last for up to a week or longer.
TIPS AND TRICKS:
- Use any of your favorite spiced rum, we use Captain Morgan.
- Any white chocolate liquor can be used for this.
- It is optional to rim the glass with white chocolate.
- You can make a larger batch of this to serve at parties in a pitcher or punch bowl.
- Use homemade eggnog or store bought.
