With only 4 ingredients and minimal time this Oreo Cheesecake Dip is a fun and tasty dip that the whole family will love. Sweet, delicious and fun!
Our family loves Oreo’s. My husband is particular to the Golden Oreo’s but me, I have no preference and never have, I just like to try all the different flavors.
This Oreo Cheesecake Dip is one of our kids favorite desserts to make. They are obsessed, not only because it tastes amazing, but it is super easy to whip up.
We make it together all the time, like ALLLLLL the time, I think it has become one of those every weekend kind of deals around here, and it never gets old.
It’s hard to find a simple recipe that never get’s old but this Oreo Cheesecake Dip is one of those recipes for our family and I am not complaining.
WHY THIS RECIPE WORKS:
- With only 4 ingredients it is super simple to whip up.
- You can experiment with other Oreo flavors with this dip since it is so basic.
- You can easily double the dip for larger crowds.
You really can’t find a simpler recipe that this Cheesecake Dip, it is just SOOOOO easy, I cannot stress that enough because I absolutely love easy recipes.
If you are a fan of sweet dips, which we are and want to add it to your potluck or picnic menu over the normal savory dips then this is one you will love.
Some other sweet dips that we absolutely love include Fluffernutter Dip, Chocolate Fruit Dip, Cookie Dough Dip and this Salted Caramel Chocolate Dip!
I’m just a huge fan of sweets, so honestly I would eat a sweet dip over a savory dip any day!
HOW TO MAKE OREO CHEESECAKE DIP, STEP BY STEP:

See how easy this Oreo Cheesecake Dip is to whip up? It literally is effortless! The hardest part is waiting for it to chill to devour! I mean you could eat it right away but we prefer to chill this.
HOW TO STORE:
This Cheesecake Dip can be stored in an airtight container, I recommend putting into a Tupperware type of container and placing in the refrigerator.
This will last up to one week before I would toss it out. But honestly this probably won’t even last you one day, it is that good!
I know I always say that things are good, but I won’t post something that I don’t think is absolutely delicious, I’m a foodie, so if I don’t like it, doesn’t mean you won’t but I wanna show you the things that I love!
CAN I USE OTHER COOKIES?
Absolutely, this recipe is SUPER versatile so you can use pretty much any cookie that you like, Oreo’s are our favorite so we like to use them the most.
But we have used fudge striped cookies, various other flavors of Oreo’s, shortbread cookies, lemon cookies, etc. There are so many different variations you can use.
We like to be a little extra and add some extra crushed Oreo’s to the top of this Cheesecake Dip because it makes it look prettier, not necessary but highly recommended.
I mean if you can get more cookie in each bite, then it can’t be a bad thing right? I mean I have never thought so!
You can crust your cookies as much as you like, if you want to keep them larger to get those large chunks in your dip you can absolutely do that, the more you crush them the darker the dip will be.
So if you want to keep it brighter white, then keep the chunks bigger, if you don’t care what it looks like then crush those bad boys up like I do!
It’s all a personal opinion, also the more you crush them the more the Cheesecake Dip will take on the Oreo and chocolate flavor as well. So there is a plus to that.
Just look at that dip…it’s just so creamy and tasty. I drool every time we make this. I know it’s a little cliche but for real, we absolutely love it. I love anything “cookies and cream”.
TIPS AND TRICKS:
- Make sure your cream cheese is softened before blending, this with help avoid any chunks and make it soothe.
- The more you crush up the Oreo’s the more the dip will take up the Oreo and chocolate flavor.
- You can leave your cookies in larger chunks if you’d like if you want more cookie in each bite.
- You can use a variety of other cookies for this dip as well such as fudge striped, shortbread, other Oreo flavors, etc.
- This needs to be refrigerated because it contains cream cheese and whipped topping, it will last about a week in the refrigerator.
This recipe is really one that you want to make, the kids really enjoy it, adults really enjoy it and it is a nice change from your normal savory dip recipes that you usually see.
