Delicious strawberry jam, crunchy pretzels, and creamy cheesecake whipped cream, all crafted into the perfect layers that make every spoonful a real decadent treat. The mix of textures really makes these dessert jars something to rave about.
I’ve been making these Strawberry Pretzel jars for a while and they always turn out so good. They’ve become one of my favorite go-to last minute desserts since they only take 15 minutes and they’re such an easy no-bake dessert.
I also really love single serving desserts, it makes things a lot easier. Especially if you are planning on serving for guests at a party, potluck or just any get together.
The flavors also work so well, the cheesecake whipped cream really sets it off and makes it just a little different from the classic and I absolutely just cannot get enough.

- Add in the heavy cream, pudding mix, and powdered sugar to the mixing bowl and beat all the ingredients with a hand mixer at medium-high speed until light and fluffy.

- Add the whipped cream by piping it on top of the strawberry layer. Repeatall the layers once more.
- Finally, garnish with any remaining crushed pretzel pieces or fresh strawberries, serve and enjoy the dessert jars!
WHAT SIZE JARS TO USE?
Following this recipe, I use 4 ounce mason jars and they turn out perfect every time. Just the right size for the perfect amount of dessert!
If you want to make them larger and cut the recipe to serve less people you can use 6 ounce or 8 ounce jars as well, I would just add a few more layers in each.
DO I HAVE TO USE STRAWBERRY FILLING?
Nope! You can use any flavor of pie filling for this recipe that you want to try. Blueberry and Apple pie filling would be great options.
DO I HAVE TO USE THE JARS?
No! If you don’t want to use individual size jars for each serving, you can make this Strawberry Pretzel dessert in a baking dish.
I recommend using an 8×8-inch baking dish and using a serving spoon to portion it out to serve to friends and family.
HOW TO STORE:
These dessert jars are best eaten when first made. The strawberry pie filling and cheesecake pudding whipped cream layers will start to make the pretzels soggy if you make them too far in advance.
Remember that these take only 15 minutes, so you don’t really have to make them too early because they come together in no time.
Strawberry Pretzel jars should be stored in the refrigerator when you aren’t eating them because of the perishable ingredients.
TIPS AND TRICKS:
- Fresh made strawberry pie filling may be used in place of canned pie filling, you would need about 2 cups worth.
- You may use vanilla pudding mix in place of the cheesecake pudding mix, if desired. You can also use plain whipped cream.
- Refrigerate these dessert jars until you’re ready to eat them. But, don’t wait too long as the filling, and whipped cream pudding layers will make the pretzels soggy quickly.
- You can make these in a baking dish if desired, see my tips above.
- These are great for birthdays, parties, BBQ’s, picnics, and more!
- Easily double this recipe to serve more people.
- You can also make in 6 or 8 ounce jars if you want larger servings, you can either cut the recipe down for less amounts to serve or double the recipe to compensate.
Ready for a quick and easy, no bake, salty, crunchy, creamy, and sweet jar of deliciousness? These simple Strawberry Pretzel Dessert Jars are just what you need to whip up!
