In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside.
In a medium bowl, use an electric mixer to blend the sugar, butter, egg and vanilla until smooth and creamy. Add the flour mixture, mixing just until combined.
Fold in the chocolate chips.
Preheat your air fryer by setting it to 350 and allowing it to warm while you form your cookie dough balls.
Using a small cookie scoop, form Tablespoon sized dough balls.
When the air fryer is preheated, line the basket with a layer of parchment paper and place dough balls evenly apart.
Press down lightly in the dough to gently flatten.
Cook at 350 degrees for 5 minutes or until the tops start to turn golden brown.
